College OT. Is a big sucker, who impressed me with his work at guard during Senior Bowl workouts. Strong and efficient in a limited area. Not as nifty or quick as one would want, but was physical, showed good body balance, and was an adequate to good finisher. Struggled with the quick edge rusher on the outside (gets his feet crossed some). Aware and efficient . Solid journeyman prospect. Has solid third round draft potential.


Biography:
2006: Started all 12 games at right tackle and was also Pitt's snapper for field goals and extra points.

2005: Started all 11 games at right tackle...also served as the long snapper for field goals and extra points...earned the Ed Conway Award, annually presented to the team's most improved players during spring drills, for the second consecutive year.

2004: Locked down the starting right tackle assignment in midseason...played in all 12 contests, starting the last eight games...made his first career start Oct. 9 versus Temple...long snapper for field goals and extra points...recipient of the Ed Conway Award as one of the most improved players during the spring. 2003: Redshirted as a true freshman.

High School: A starting offensive tackle and defensive end at Austintown Fitch, McGlynn played in only four games as a senior due to a fractured fibula...All-Steel Valley...selected to play in the Big 33 Football Classic...Played under Coach Carl Pelini...earned three football letters...also an All-Steel Valley performer and two-year letterman in baseball.
