Tough little cover corner. I liked his feet, pedal quicks and turns. Showed quick hips and ability to close on the ball. Won't turn it down. Was surprisingly physical defending the run. I would have to think he would have very solid sub package and kick off return potential. On the negative side, will always have match up problem and did over play some. In my opinion should be given late round draft consideration 6-7


Biography:

2006: Started all 13 games in his first season at ASU...earned honorable mention All-Pac-10 honors...is ASU's second-leading returning tackler for 2007, totaling 47 stops (37 solo) last season...added 2.5 tackles-for-loss (-8 yards) and one sack (-7 yards)...is the returning team leader with seven pass break-ups and also recorded two fumble recoveries and one interception...an incredible kickoff returner, he averaged 41.2 yards on five kickoff returns late in the season.

Prior to Arizona State: A 2005 graduate of the College of the Canyons in Santa Clarita, Calif... played cornerback and kick returner...was a preseason and postseason All-American in 2005...earned second-team All-America honors in 2005...was also selected to the all-state team in addition to earning first-team All-Western States Conference recognition...College of the Canyons won the 2004 National Championship, the state of California Championship and the Western States Conference Championship...led his team to the nation's No. 1 ranking...made second-team all-Western States Conference in 2004...coached by Chuck Lyons.

High School: A 2003 graduate of Taft High School in Woodland Hills, Calif...lettered in football and track and field...named second-team all-city in football as a running back...gained 1,435 yards and scored 21 touchdowns in 2002...registered a 96-yard kickoff return versus Jefferson High...earned All-American, all-state and all-city accolades in track and field as a senior...ran a 10.6 100-meters, a 21.2 200-meters and a 47.25 400-meters (fastest time in the state) in high school...coached by Troy Starr.

Personal: Plans on majoring in business...was one of three mid-year junior college transfers to join the team for spring drills...former high school teammate of fellow Sun Devil defensive back Littrele Jones...parents are Shelton Tryon and JoHanna Carlton of Palmdale, Calif...has four siblings, Jucorie (25), Jarrod (15), and Jarrett (15) and Jermaine (deceased)...lists winning the junior college national championship as his most exciting sports experience...enjoys socializing with friends and spending time with family...born May 29, 1984...full name is Justin Deaon Tryon.
