| Led the Chargers to a 9-7 record, starting every game and throwing for 3,576 yards on 500 attempts. Brees completed the season with a completion percentage of 64.6%, 24 touchdowns, and 15 interceptions. His QB rating of 89.2 was slightly higher than his career rating of 84.9. Brees had arthoscopic surgery after the season to repair a dislocated right shoulder suffered during the last game of 2005. |
