Tuesday Injury Update

A few minor notes regarding sound wounded Eagles headed into the Sunday's first regular season game.

WR Josh Huff

Huff was one of two Eagles who sat out of Tuesday's practice. The rookie wideout is still sidelined with the the AC joint (shoulder) sprain suffered on August 15, and Nolan Carroll was in his place practicing kickoff returns. Huff's status for Sunday is not known.

OL Matt Tobin

Tobin was the other absent player, and is expected to miss two to three weeks with a high-ankle sprain sustained August 28 vs. the Jets.

RB Chris Polk

Polk (hamstring tear) was a full participant in today's practice, and expressed optimism that he'll be ready on Sunday. Matthew Tucker and Henry Josey were in part released on the belief that Polk was going to finally be available.
